Turnip Carving Documentation

The turnip carving activity was very interesting. I never thought I would come to art school and carve a turnip for a gallery. It is an extraordinary opportunity as a freshman to have helped with a piece in the gallery. I am proud of myself and my peers for that. Nash's ideas for this project were very unexpected and original. I would have never thought to do that. I like how they took from their own queer experiences to create a queer piece of art.
